Student aid or scholarships which have been officially reported to the Business Office by letter or through the Financial Aid office, by the day of registration, will be deducted from the total due. Checks for the total due, mailed and post– marked by the above dates, are counted as received by the deadline. Payment in advance by mail or in person is encouraged. If the total due is not paid by the above dates the deferred payment charge will automatically go into effect. Deferred Payment Plan A service charge of $20.00 is added to the students bill at the beginning of the quarter in which the deferred payment plan is used. Under the deferred payment plan one-third of the total bill is due by 4:00 P.M. on the final day of financial registration as above. The remainder deferred is due in two equal monthly payments. The first is due one month after•financial registration and the second is due two months following. If the total account is paid within two weeks of financial registration, $10.00 of the deferred payment charge will be refunded. No student should end the quarter with an unpaid account. No student can begin the next quarter, graduate, or receive transcripts with an unpaid account from the previous quarter. A charge of 1% monthly will be assessed overdue accounts. Student Health and Insurance All students are required to pay the Health and Accident fee which provides for all of the services of the College Health Center plus coverage for accidents, Doctor visits, and out of hospital expenses not covered by normal group hospitalization plans. See Health Service brochure for exact details. All students will be charged for group Hospitalization Insurance coverage unless they have in their possession at financial registration, a signed waiver form obtained from the Health Service. Hospitalization Insurance can be dropped or added only at financial registration days each quarter or within the three days following (with a $3.00 penalty). Withdrawal Refunds If a student withdraws from college before the end of the quarter, refunds on tuition may be granted three days after application for refund has been filed with the Business office.
