Completion of Measurement and Evaluation Elementary and Kindergarten Education Programs Elementary education certification includes grades 1-8. The elementary educa– tion certificate may be validated for kindergarten upon successful completion of nine quarter hours in kindergarten methods and materials. Programs in elementary education are also available in physical education and music enabling one to teach that subject in grades K-8.
