Student Health and Insurance All students are required to pay the Health and Safety Fee which provides for all of the services of the College Health Center plus group coverage for minor accidents, doctor visits, and out– of-hospital expenses not covered by normal group hospitalization plans. See the Health Service Brochure for exact details. All students will be charged for group hospitalization in– surance coverage unless they have in their possession atfinancial registration a signed waiver form obtained from the Health Ser– vice. Hospitalization insurance can be dropped or added only at fi– nancial registration days each quarter or within the three days fol– lowing (with a $3 penalty). Student Services Fee The Student Services Fee provides for the following: college newspaper, yearbook, admission to college-sponsored athletic events, artist-lecture programs, intramurals, Student Senate, Christian Service activities, class dues, and other college social activities. Students who enroll in fewer than 12 quarter hours are entitled to all the services except the yearbook. Deferred Charge $25: Automatic for all accounts with bal– ance remaining after financial registration. 3. Deferred Payment Plan: 1/3 down at financial registration 1/3 second payment-due within four weeks 1/3 final payment-due within eight weeks and/or two weeks prior to final exams 4. Late Payment Charge: $10 additional on all accounts with balances in excess of $50 after the deferred payment charge deadline. All student ac– counts are subject to this charge. Total payment of the college student's bill (for each quarter) is due at the beginning of that quarter no later than 4 p.m. on the final day of financial registration. Financial registration is nor– mally the first two days students are required back on campus for a new quarter. Student aid or scholarships which have been offi– cially reported to the Business Office, by letter or through the col– lege Financial Aid Office, will be deducted from the total due.
