Consequently, a limit of thirty students per year is accepted to the Department of Nursing on the basis of criteria in these areas: 1. Passing grades in the following courses: 21-101, 21-102, 21-230;41-120, 41-130, 81-110; 71-154, 71-251; 71-216, 71-217; 71-114, 71-238; 71-356; 51-130; 66-160, 66-260; 91-272. 2. Cumulative grade point average at the college of 2.4. 3. Minimum grade of C in science courses. 4. Scholastic Aptitude Test of the College Entrance Examina– tion Board (SAT) or the American College Testing Pro– gram Examination (ACT). 5. Statement of career goals. 6. Recommendation of academic advisor. 7. Physician's report which certifies good health. 8. Payment of a $25 application fee (nonrefundable) six months prior to enrollment in Nursing Department courses. Students not accepted into the Nursing Department have sev– eral options. They may be placed on a waiting list forone year, or they are given assistance in selecting another field of study at Cedarville College or another nursing program appropriate to stated career goals. Requirements for Retention 1. Grade of C or above in all nursing courses. 2. Successful completion of all clinical assignments. 3. Recommendation of faculty. Requirements for Graduation l. Grade of C or above in all science and nursing courses. 2. Registration for admission to the examination for state licensure as a registered nurse. 3.
