Deferred Payment Plan: 1/3 down at financial registration 1/3 second payment-due within four weeks 1/3 final payment-due within eight weeks and/or two weeks prior to final exams 4. Late Payment Charge: Deferred payment schedules are established as indicated above and are announced each quarter. Students are charged $10 each time a scheduled payment is not made. These charges are in addition to the initial $25 deferred payment charge. Total payment of the college student's bill (for each quarter) is due at the beginning of that quarter no later than 4 p.m. on the final day of financial registration. Financial registration is nor– mally the first two days students are required back on campus for a new quarter. Student aid or scholarships which have been offi– cially reported to the Business Office, by letter or through the col– lege Financial Aid Office, will be deducted from the total due. This applies only to types of aid which are paid directly to Cedar– ville College. Consider Before Registration: A student's registration for college classes is his or her obligation and commitment to pay for the related charges as stated in the college catalog. The use of the college's Deferred Payment Plan constitutes a debt obligation of the student to the college, payable in installments as stated. Therefore, it is very important that you as parent or student con– sider and understand the full cost and obligation to which you are committing yourself. The testimony of Cedarville College depends upon the power and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and on all those who are com– mitted to the college. This includes financial obligations as well as spiritual commitments. No student will be allowed to begin the next quarter, receive grade reports of transcripts, or graduate with an unpaid account at the college. A charge of 1 % monthly will be assessed overdue ac– counts. NOTICE: Statements of account are normally given to stu– dents monthly. Prior to the fall quarter a statement will be mailed to each preregistered student's home address. All students are en– couraged to pay tuition and fees by mail prior to the beginning of each quarter. v .... ,.,,..,."''"" 111 "'"",...~ Incentive Credit Plan Students may prepay their college costs and earn a prepayment credit on their accounts. This is optional for any accepted or cur– rently enrolled student. Prepayments can be made monthly, quar– terly, or annually. All prepayments are immediately credited to the student's account. At the end of each month, the credit balance in a student's ac– c~unt in excess of $500 which has been on deposit for 30 days, will earn a prepayment credit. The current annual rate is 8%· the current monthly credit allowed is .677%. These earnings wiil be credited to the account and compounded monthly. This rate is subject to change each year. · Students may make withdrawals from a credit balance on their account. Bookstore purchases can be charged against a credit bal– ance. Any credit balance will be refunded upon request. The stu– dent's monthly statement will show the amount of prepayment credit earned that month and the total amount of prepayment to date. Assistance Cedarville College is approved under Title 38, Chapters 31, 32, 34, and 35, U.S. Code for education of veterans and their de– pendents. Students under Chapters 32, 34 and 35 are required to pay the school for all charges. The Veterans Administration in tum pays them a monthly allowance based upon their training load. Vet– erans under Chapter 31 are paid a monthly allowance and the Vet– erans Administration pays the school for tuition fees, books, and supplies.
