Air Force. Air Force ROTC scholarships paying for the cost of tuition, fees, textbooks, and a $100 monthly allowance are avail– able to students who demonstrate academic and leadership poten- ti~. . Students interested in Air Force ROTC should contact the De– partment of Aerospace Studies, Wright State University, Dayton, OH 45435, phone: (513) 873-2730. and other people who have a special interest in the growth and progress of Cedarville College have generously do– nated funds to help defray educational expenses of students who have special and exceptional financial needs. ~hese fund~, whi~h are listed below, are under the control of the director of fmancial aid. He will determine who is eligible and the award that will be provided according to specific guidelines for each fund. l . Alumni and Grant Endowment Fund The alumni of College established this fund to generate interest which is awarded as scholarships to C~dar ville College students without regard to demonstrated fman– cial need. 2. John W. Bickett Fund Established by the Heritage Alumni and named for Reverend John Wilson Bickett who was the first member of the first graduating class in 1897 to receive his diploma. It is the de– sire of alumni to remember the early graduates who helped lay the foundation of the college. The fund is designed to ~s sist junior or senior students preparing for pastoral o: m1~sionary service and planning to fmiher their education m seminary or language studies. 3. Minor and Bernice Cross :Scihollar:smp Fund Income earned shall be used for scholarships to be awarded to Cedarville College students based on demonstrated finan– cial need and donor stipulations. 4. The First Church Scholarship Fund Established to assist students of church to attend Cedar- ville College. Others may be considered for this award should no qualified students from the church enroll. 5. Peter F. and Anne E. Guenther Fund Established in memory of Peter F. Funds are available for eligible students who are preparing for full-time service in the Baptist ministry and who have demonstrated financial need. 6. Endowed Fund "•n•~•· 0 "' 0 r• by Miss Mabel Irvin Walker. Its purpose is to use the interest income for scholarships to be given to de– serving and needy students. 7. William and Cora Norman Memorial Schollarstup Fund Established by Geraldine Henry in memory of her m?t~er and father. This is an endowed fund for the purpose of a1dmg full-time students who can demonstrate financial need and meet donor stipulations. 8. Harold P. "Howdy" House Memorial :Scholtarsmp The income from this fund shall be used as a ..,,.,..,,."'..,,..., awarded annually to a full-time Cedarville College student who can demonstrate financial need and donor stipulations. 9. Robert L. Hutchinson Memorial Fund Established in memory of Robert L. Hutchinson. Its purpose is to provide an annual scholarship to a student preparing for full-time foreign missionary service and who has demon– strated financial need. 10. Jeremiah Fund 11-< 01 t"'"''"''"'"'11 by the faculty women of Cedarville ~ollege. in appreciation of the years of loyal and de:roted service which the Jeremiahs have given to the college, its students, fac~lty, and staff. Its purpose is to provide an annual scholarship of $1000 to an eligible woman student selected by the scholar- committee. 11 . M. Frances Smith Junk Established by Mr. and Mrs. William M. Junk for the pur– pose of providing a one-time grant to a freshrr,ian ~tudent w~o has sufficient ability to be enrolled and to mamtam academic progress according to the standards of Cedarville College. The student must demonstrate exceptional financial need. 12. Dr. and Mrs. G. Scholarship Fund Established out of concern for enlarging Christian service op– portunities. An annual grant will be awarded to one or more
