Summer School The college offers two summer terms of five weeks each from June through mid-August. A student may earn up to ten quarter hours each term. Chapel is held daily and attendance is required. The summer sessions can appeal to a variety of students. Some wish to accelerate their college program. Other students from other institutions may desire Bible courses which are not available at their institutions. Teachers find the summer terms convenient as a means by which to update themselves in their disciplines. Others enjoy the advantages of smaller summer classes. Incoming freshmen recognize summer attendance as an excellent opportu– nity to become acclimated to academic pursuits before campus ac– tivities begin in the fall. High school students who have completed their junior year .and who display sufficient academic strength may want to consider the summer program.
