Prerequisite: 66-160 General Psychology. 66-261 Psychological Statistics -A, Sp 5 hours Designed to provide an elementary coverage of descriptive and sam– pling statistics commonly used in psychology. This includes problems of measurement, measures of central tendency and dispersion, linear corre– lation, prediction, and simple tests of significance. Prerequisite: 66-160 General Psychology. 66-264 Psychology of Abnormal Behavior - Sp 5 hours Fo.cus upon etiology, symptomatology, and prognosis of psychologi– cal disturbance. Emphasis is placed upon contemporary theory. Offers training in the construction, selection, and use of psychological tests. Prerequisite: 66-261 Psychological Statistics. 66-364 Industrial Psychology 4 hours Psychology applied to the world of work. Emphasis is on the methodology and activities of industrial/organizational psychologists. Prerequisite: 66-160 General Psychology, 66-261 Psychological Statis- tics or 11-211 Quantitative Methods. Prerequisite: 66-160 General Psychology 66-367 Group Dynamics -A 5 hours Group processes in a variety of group settings are the focus as this course explores the interaction of individuals and groups. One member of the psychology departmen~ will sup~rvise the student's internship. The psy– chology department will determme the number of credit hours that will be given for individual work experience.
