1988-1989 Academic Catalog

Personal Requirements The department recognizes that Christian students come to the College with varying levels of knowledge of the Bible. Those stu– dents who possess extensive biblical knowledge may choose to take advanced Biblical education electives in place of either or both Old Testament and/or New Testament Surveys. Individuals planning to pursue careers in vocational ministries should possess an intense desire to study the Scriptures and seek to gain as much practical experience in ministries as possible, even before entering the College. Biblical education majors will find the opp01iunities provided by the Christian ministries program to be excellent avenues for applying truths learned in the classroom and for developing skills useful for effective ministry.
