120 Health andPhysical Education Secondary Physical Education Major The secondary physical education major prepares students to teach physical education in grades 7-12 in public and Christian schools. Students completing these requirements will be certified by the State of Ohio and the Association of Christian Schools International. The Ohio teaching certifi– cate, through reciprocal agreements, is automatically recognized in twenty– six states. Those planning to teach in states other than Ohio should consult with the "Department of Education" to be aware of special requirements in states where reciprocity has not been established.
