Health and Physical Education 107 Comprehensive Physical Education Major The comprehensive physical education major prepares students to teach physical education in grades K-12 in both public and Christian schools. Students who complete this curriculum will be certified by the State of Ohio and the Association of Christian Schools International. The Ohio teaching certificate, through reciprocal agreements, is automatically recognized in twenty-six states. Those planning to teach in states other than Ohio should consult with the Depai1ment of Education to be aware of special requirements in states where reciprocity has not been established.
