Early childhood education certification prepares students to teach at the level. Students may obtain this ~ertification by meeting the elementary education requirements and the following additions to or excep– tions to those requirements: 1. Earn a minimum GPA of 2.3. 2. Earn a grade of "C" or above in the professional education area, concentration area and communications courses. 3.
