Social Sciences Criminal Justice The criminal justice major prepares students for careers in the criminal justice system. The FBI and similar organizations favor individuals with strong background in accounting. Students who wish to pursue careers with these organizations should concentrate their electives in accounting. Course requirements involve ninety quarter hours. Students must take all fifty-two hours of core courses and a minimum of thirty-eight hours of criminal justice electives.
