The criminal justice major prepares students for careers in the criminal justice system. The FBI and similar organiza– tions favor individuals with a strong background in account– ing. Students who wish to pursue careers with these organiza– tions should concentrate their electives in accounting. Course requirements involve 95 quarter hours. Students must take all 67 hours of core courses and a minimum of28 hours of criminaljustice electives.
