FoundersHall "Old Main" has served as the focal point of campus activity for over one hundred years. This historic facility was renamed Founders Hall on Centennial Charter Day, January 26, 1987, to recognize the five men who pooled their vision, energy, and wealth to give birth to Cedarville College. Today this stately structure serves as Cedarville's adminis– trative and academic headquaiters with offices for the president, academic vice president, and vice president for development. The second floor contains one general class– room and offices for the vice president for business. Faculty offices for the Bible Department are located on the third floor. The lower level of this building houses the business office and payroll. Fine Arts Building Located two blocks south of the main campus, this stately structure donated by Andrew Carnegie supports Cedarville's art program with a classroom, general art studio, photography darkroom, ceramics studio and kiln, and faculty offices. Human Resource and SafetyCenter Following its renovation in 2001, the Human Resource and Safety Center house the administrative offices of Human Resource, Public Safety and the copy center. Milner Hall Opened in 1987 and featuring the latest in instructional technology, the George Milner Business Administration Building contains general classrooms, a computer center, plus offices and classrooms for the Department of Business Administration. Built like a corporate center and fully com– puter-supported, this facility is designed to prepare Cedarville students for competent service in the world of business. Patterson Clinic Patterson Clinic provides ambulatory health care with a staff that consists of physicians and College Health Certified registered nurses. The Clinic offers many health care services such as preventative care, illness care, wellness education, many over-the-counter medications, allergy injection manage– ment, laboratory services, prescription medications, rehabilita– tion treatment, and an insurance claim service. The nurses and physicians at Patterson Clinic work closely with area hospitals and specialists to provide comprehensive health care for students. The services of Patterson Clinic also include Cedarville University Emergency Medical Services, a volunteer EMS ambulance service manned with students who are nationally– certified EMT's and/or paramedics. CUEMS is available 24 hours a day when classes are in session Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters, to respond to campus emergencies. The medical teams ofPatterson Clinic and CUEMS are committed to delivering excellent health care within a context ofChristian compassion. In addition to the health care services provided by Patterson Clinic and Cedarville UniversityEmergency Medical Services, all students taking 6 or more credit hours per quarter are enrolled in a Student Health Insurance Plan as a benefit of tuition. Students taking less than 6 credit hours may purchase the Student Health Insurance Plan. Married students may also purchase the Student Health Insurance Plan for their spouse and dependants. Refer to the Student Health Insurance Plan brochure for details of the coverage. Stevens Student Center The newest facility on campus houses the dining hall, snack shop, bookstore, post office, game room, student radio station, career services, theater, and student government. The 150,000 square foot building is also the home of the admissions, financial aid, academic services, counseling, student services and campus activities offices. The dining hall facilities include the main cafeteria and the President's Dining Room. The main cafeteria serves 21 "all– you-can-eat" meals a week to the more than 2,200 students who live on campus. Students have the option of choosing either the full 21-meal plan or the 14-meal plan. All students on meal plans are able to eat l 0 meals per quarter in the new snack shop simply by showing their ID at the door. The President's Dining Room features formal dining in an elegant setting overlooking Cedar Lake. This unique room, reputed to be one of the finest of its kind in the state and used extensively by the University's president, may also be reserved by students who wish to enjoy a formal dining occasion. Offering one of the largest selections of Christian books and materials in the Midwest, the bookstore makes its new home in the Stevens Student Center. With everything from sweatshirts to textbooks and greeting cards to Christian music, the bookstore endeavors to provide students with the materials necessary to enjoy a successful college experience. The theatre complex includes a 400 seat theatre, movement studio, makeup suite, offices and dressing rooms. The theatre has a 36' by 18' proscenium arch, 38 lines with full fly space, and a Gala electronic lift system for the orchestra pit. Williams Hall Providing classrooms and offices, Williams Hall serves as the home of the academic departments of education and psychology. The building was named for the late Arthur Williams, popular faculty member and chairman ofthe Bible department. Stevens St11de11t Center
