It also prepares students for careers in public policy analysis, interna- tional affairs, various levels of government, campaign manage- ment, interest groups, journalism, and many others. Besides training students in a core area of courses, the major gives students the opportunity to focus their studies by choosing a concentration either in American politics, international relations, or political philosophy.
