Students are taught to cultivate a unique approach to mediated communication that develops skills in creative problem-solving techniques, innovative adaptation of media forms and formats, and positive leadership. Course requirements involve 48 semester hours, including 42 semester hours in the core requirements and 6 semester hours in electives consistent with the career interests of the student and subject to department approval.
