Teacher Education Program Retention and Completion Requirements To maintain regular standing in the Teacher Education Program and/or to receive a degree, students must maintain and/or complete the following requirements: Maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher in all courses. 1. Obtain a “C-” or higher in all methods courses. 2. Satisfactorily complete field and clinical experiences. 3. Earn a passing score on state-required Praxis II exams before enrolling in student teaching (licensure only). 4. Satisfactorily complete the internship experience. Programs of Study The department of education offers instruction with the purpose of providing excellent Christian teachers for Christian, public, international, and missionary schools.
