This is an undergraduate interdisciplinary degree program with an emphasis on advanced (upper-level) coursework and substantial laboratory work in the sciences. Students completing this program will also earn a minor in criminal justice and participate in an internship in a state crime laboratory their junior and senior years. This program is provided in partnership with the department of science and mathematics department. Program requirements can be found on page 174 . History The history major prepares students for graduate work or for careers in a variety of fields including government, law, business, education, public history, and the Gospel ministry. Traditionally a key component of the classical liberal arts education, history and the skills demanded by the historical process provide a necessary foundation for learning. Coursework encourages students to evaluate the historical narrative based on biblical principles, resulting in an integrative understanding.
