At Cedarville since 2012. School of Pharmacy Cedarville University offers a distinct, seven-year program that leads to the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. The curriculum involves three years of prepharmacy course work followed by four years of graduate-level, advanced professional coursework in pharmacy. By completing the specified requirements, students earn a minor in Bible, Bachelor of Science in pharmaceutical sciences, and a Doctor of Pharmacy. The School of Pharmacy develops exceptional pharmacy practitioners focused on meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients through servant leadership. Accreditation Although Cedarville has offered a prepharmacy curriculum for more than 40 years, the current seven-year pharmacy program started in 2009. The Ohio Board of Regents and the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools ( ncahlc.org) have both granted their approvals to offer the degrees associated with the program. The University has received preliminary approval for the advanced professional curriculum in pharmacy from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education, ( acpe-accredit.org) , the organization that accredits pharmacy programs in the United States.
