ACPE accreditation process is ongoing, go to cedarville.edu/ pharmacy/accreditation for information regarding the school’s current status. Prepharmacy Prepharmacy involves a three-year curriculum that contains the course requirements for the professional curriculum of the Cedarville University School of Pharmacy, as well as other pharmacy programs in the United States. This program is designed to prepare students for advanced professional study in pharmacy. These courses compare closely to degree requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in biology, the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology, and the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in chemistry, enabling students who wish to earn a bachelor’s degree to do so relatively easily. Since admission is very competitive, the majority of students admitted to the more than 130 other schools of pharmacy across the nation have earned bachelor’s degrees. The courses contained in the prepharmacy curriculum described below serve as prerequisites for the professional course requirements for the Cedarville University School of Pharmacy. The following 99–100-hour program should be included in the three years the prepharmacy student attends Cedarville.
