Multi-Age Health and Physical Education The multi-age health and physical education major prepares students to teach both health and physical education in grades pre-K through grade 12 in public and Christian schools. Students who complete this curriculum will be licensed by the state of Ohio and the Association of Christian Schools International. The Ohio teaching license, through reciprocal agreements, is automatically recognized in 42 states. For additional information about teaching in other states, see the School of Education section. Students in this major will practice improving teaching skills in five different teaching experiences; urban field experience, homeschool experience, methods field experience (public), special populations field experience (GCESC public), culminating with student teaching (public or Christian). The total contact hours is 1000 plus.
