Allied Health — Bachelor of Science The Bachelor of Science degree with a major in allied health is an interdisciplinary program designed to prepare students for admission into graduate-level allied healthcare provider programs including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and physician assistant. The allied health major is not necessarily designed to prepare students for the medical profession. Students seeking admission to medical school should consider majoring in the premed program offered in the School of Science and Mathematics. An ACT composite score of 25 (or SAT composite of 1150) or higher is highly recommended.
