VI. Global Awareness God has commanded us to spread the gospel locally, regionally, and globally. To do this effectively, Cedarville graduates need to understand various global perspectives and issues. To this end, the general education requirements have a global awareness component. Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree must meet one of the following Global Awareness requirements: A. Pass three years of the same foreign language in high school (example: Spanish I, Spanish II, and Spanish III). B. Pass one semester of an intermediate college-level foreign language. (example: Intermediate Spanish I). C. Live in a non-U.S. cultural immersion experience for at least one school year after the age of 12. D. Pass two years of the same high school foreign language (example: Spanish I and Spanish II) or pass the second semester of a college-level foreign language and one of the following: 1.
