Brad- lute & Son, of Meadow' Brook stock farm, this township, were brought home from the Butler county fair last Saturday afternoon after a very suc cessful tour o f six of the leading fairs of the state. They attended the fol lowing fairs with the results given. At Xenia they won 8 firsts and 3 sec onds, including 3 sweepstakes. A t Greenville 5 firsts and 1 second, also v , * grand sweepstakes cow over all ages and breeds, there being 175 head of cattle on the grounds. A t Columbus, Ohio State Fair, 3 first?and 3 seconds including sweepstakes for 3 cows each with her own calf. Besides his ten years service in the postoffice and thirty years as Justice of thc Peace he has filled almost every other office within the gift of the peo ple here. Within the time of his res idence here but few changes have ta* ken place with which ho is not conver sant.
