Notwithstanding the meeting was at an unfavorable hour a goodly number, of interested people were present. Ifc was the most encour­ aging mooting that the society has had for several years. The canvas­ sers appointed by the Board to can­ vass tho village and township did their work .faithfully, and besides advertising the Bible Society work in nearly every home, they turned into the treasury $101 Into tho treas­ ury.
