Roscoe McCorkell has been mustered out o f the railroad division at Ft. Ben and he spent Saturday and Sabbath with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. McCorkell. Roscoe states that the epidemic of flu is all that kept his division from going over seas before the armistice was signed. They were packed ready to go when the or­ ders came to cancel the trip.
