' < ■ W. E. Eavey of Xenia, died early Monday evening, following a compli­ cation' of troubles due to Bright’s disease. The deceased was interested in the wholesale >grocery by that name and has been calling on the lo­ cal trade for manyyears. Hewas mar­ ried three times and leaves a widow and three children, two daughters by the first wife and a Sonby the second. The funeral.was held Wednesday. Miss Mas D. Currie of Indianapolis spent the past week-end with Mrs, J. H. Milbum* after having attended a Conference of Red Cross chairmen of the Lake Divisioii at Cleveland, which is composed of Ohio,, Indiana and Kentucky. In the company were a number of hog breeders that had been attending a sale near that city. Every little while the station agent would mark up the train po late until the matter became a joke. After- awhile some one investigated and it was discovered that the train was off the track below Lexington.
