CO-OPERATIVE ELEVATORS If Ohio farmers have not been as noisy as some, eoncerning their marketing difficulties, they have also not been inactive in seekmaaposBi- ble remedy. Last week's Ohio Par­ mer tells us that there are now about 350 co-operative farmers elevators in the state, most of them in the northwestern quarter. These locaL el­ evators are rapidly taking out mern- fcerships in a large co-operative ter­ minal elevator in Cleveland. They have been wise enough to keep the general management in the hands of men thoroughly experienced m the grain trade, not believing that any ordinary farmer can successfully manage large market transactions.
