Quite apart from the interest that all o f us take in learning , what our people think o f the Presidential Contest, a very vital ; interest w ill be taken by politicians. Cooper, Mr. . and Mrs, ( ’coper liv* d on a farm near j Oedarviije until sometime in the year 1891 who" they jnovrh into town and Mr. Cooper engaged in business. Two years later they bought a home o f tlide can on Miller street. August; : i!5, 1022, Mrs. Cooper1moved to belle Center, Q,' io, with her daughter, and ■ion-in-law, Rev, and Mrs. Ralph El der and remained with them until her •death wliich cceiired June 17, 1823. Mrs. Cooper's ago was 05 years, -4 months, and 10 days. Her husband preceded her to the. heavenly home sis years ago last March. To Mr, and Mrs. Cooper two children were born, Mrs. I), L. Cr.wvford o f Xenia, Q,, and Mrs. Ralph Elder o f Belle Center, O., who together' with their .husOands and three grandchildren mourn deeply the passing away o f a beloved mother. A t an eurly age Mrs, Cooper united with tho Reformed Presbyterian churh (New School) of Csdavvillo un? dey the pastorate o f Dr. J. F. Morton and remained a faithful member un til death. Nearly fifteen years ago. she became an invalid and was unable to attend church but she always main* tain-id a prayful and loyal interest in her church qnd its work. Thru all tho years of her invalid ism and . suffering she exhibited, a happy spirit o f patience and cheer fulness that ituuio her a'blessing to every one who knew hot*. To know her was to love, her. Tho she was 'un able to walk and was confined all . time to' a wheel cnair and some o f the time to her bed, yet her hands were always busy. She was always ■thotful o f others and unmindful o f herself. No word o f complaint yeas over heard from her but she rested her' faith in her Saviour and in the precious promise o f God’s,Word. About eight weeks ago -she Was taken 'suddenly ill' and from that ill*, neks she never* recovered. She suf fered intensely during those eight weeks o f sickness and longed to be at rest, Her spirit took its fligst ancf while hearts are heavy and sore bd- cause of her going home yet the loss is her infinite-gain.
