Gowdy, Xenia, died'*Tuesday morning following a long iltnesu. He Is survived by his wife and one sen, Prof. R. G. Gowdy, of the University of Cincin nati. Rev. Gowdy was born in Greene county'and fo r 18 years was pastor of the Pleasant Ridge Presbyterian con gregation. The funeral was held on Thursday with burial a t Spring Grove cemetery, Cincinnati.
