Elias was absent from his office several days this week suffering with an attack o f the grip. The first Union Communion Service ever observed here ,was held in the First Presbyterian church Wednesday evening with a large audience, repre­ senting the three local congregations in attendance. The service was very impressive and will no doubt be an an­ nual affair in the future. d r a m a t ic t r i a l The Dramatic Trial entitled “ Who Killed Earl Wright” will be presented in the Cedarville Opera House Wed­ nesday evening, April 23rd, a t eight o’clock, Thi* trial is the exact repro­ duction o f an actual murder case which was recently tried in a western city. Mr, George Hammond an attorney o f Dee Moines, Iowa, was in court during the trial o f a prominent young man o f that community who had kill­ ed his best friend while under the in­ fluence o f intoxicating liquor. The situation, facing this young man so impressed him that he produced a drama in the form o f a murder trial based upon the facts in thsi case. The bootlegger who sold the stuff by means o f which this young man be­ came intoxicated, was jointly guilty for the murder o f Earl Wright, al­ though he was never punished for this crime. Mr. Will JvFoster o f Cincinnati, and Mr. John Ekey o f Columbus, who take the parts o f the prosecutor and attor­ ney for defense, will be assisted in presenting this production by the fol­ lowing local people; .
