Little, Tuesday afternoon. “Longfellow Day?’ was observed by the club thus honoring the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Mrs. Trumbo read a biography of the poet, and Mrs. Fred Shew read selections from Hiawatha.” The popular poem, “The Village Black smith,” was read by Mrs. Raymond Ritenour.
