Some Task To Remove Vault Door Springfield workmen found quite a task when they attempted to remove the vault door in the bunk building. Three or four men worked several day* and finally an air hammer had to be.applied to cut the concrete from the steel door frame. Ail o f the In terior bank equipment in the building has been removed, When the concrete vault was being constructed William Ford, a laborer, dropped a penny in the concrete over the .vault door.
