Wiley, is expected next week Cedarville College Summer School Opens The first session o f the summer school o f Cedarville College, opened Tuesday, with a good attendance. Acting President Ira D. Vayhinger state* the summer school is being operated by Prof, A,vJ. Hostetler o f the Department o f Education, follow­ ing the Victory program to provide teachers for public schools as en­ dorsed by the Department o f Educa­ tion. Students enrolled in the school will be able to take teaching positions in September, 1944. High school graduates can obtain temporary certificates in 15 months and begin teaching. Bimiliar provis­ ions have_ been m'ade for temporary high school certificates by adding one full calendar year’s work to this re­ quirement or a total o f 37 months. This- certificate enables students to begin teaching in September 1945.. The first session closes July 17th and the second session opens, July 19 and closes August 21. HOME CULTURE CLUB GUEST OF MRS.
