IOO SCOUTS PLANT MEMORIAL TREES ’’ Approximately 100 Boy Scouts un-; der thk direction of Forrest White, Scout Executive, began the, planting of 5,000 memorial trees at Camp Hugh Bircli, last Saturday". The scouts are to return this Saturday to complete the planting. The trees are being planted in honor of the Scouts and former Scouts who are now serving their, country in the armed forces. Eight varieties are in­ cluded: Hemlock, Norway • Spruce, Loblolly Pine, Jack Pine, Shortleaf Pine, Austrian Pine and Red and White Pine. This is the second large planting of trees at the camp. Fast Time Starts , Sunday Morning So far as is known fast time goes into effect Sunday morning h/.this county. The .public schools will also start on the new time Monday as will the.college. The court house; clock is to be moved up one hour.
