Now that both Houses o f Congress haye passed the peces- •Vlegislation to legalize the British loan o f nearly four billion liars, everyone who believes in making a loan o f that extent to istion that has. not paid its debts, and has not even been over- thankful that We won the war with pur spilled bipod, should rrow all they can and prepare to get rich. • W e have read many o f the arguments m Congress why we ould make the loan and many editorials o f like tenor. . W e ve read the arguments against the loam From the business _... — . — -*— - — - - — * iwpoint there are a lot o f people on this side o f the Atlantic rtakfe place August 4 at 2 p. m. at the -well as in England’ that w ill reap riches over . the loan. A t me the New Deal commission men will take a huge commis- >n fo r “ selling the scheme” and we may hear more o f this at later date; just as you are now hearing o f the war graft con- icts made under the reign o f the modern Judas from Hyde irk. No payments on the British loan are to be made under e years. I f there is a depression there are to be no payments itil the British con fer with a lot o f New Dealers in a back- om in London or New York City. The British can create a inic over night by changing the value o f the pound sterling. W e are told the British will purchase so much merchandise every kind in this country on our credit everybody will have work on Saturdays and Sundays. Few now talk about the •esent financial condition o f England. She is fla t broke and nnot even pay her debt to Canada. The New Deal was even ore accomodating in contracting to let British goods come into is country under “ free trade” in competition with our m&nu- cturers’ and her wool to compete with American wool: Eng- nd now has a two year supply o f Australian wool in storage in ip country ready to be thrown on the American market. British anufacturers will use cheap labor, $3.50 American coijri, being ieir top wages in most industries. ■. Your income tax is yet to be raided by Russia, France and sly f o r about a billion dollars. It is no trouble to borrow from (e New,Deal because most o f those in authority in Washington ere broke when they entered o ffice and only the war contract raft has fattened their bank accounts. I f you are without funds lake a loan and get rich fo r by this British loan we are told merican industry is to get rich. Democratic free trade will ow up American industry and it will ruin the farmer’s market hen South American meats and grain begin to pour into this rnntry. siuiiiiiim iiiiiiim iiiiiiiiiiiiM iiiinim iiiitiiiiiiiitiiiitiiiiU tiitiiiK iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiaiiiiiiiiiiiiiim i This Week-Em Prices Cut to Sell B IG N O . 2 C A N S A. The race war is on in that state. A recent campaign for governor generated all the ill feeling o f slave days when Pearson, Winchell and Georgia politic ians and certain daily, papers attacked Eugene Talmadge, who’ CSpitalized on ithe issue and won. The KKK for years has been an issue in that state and other southern states over the race issue. Congress had before 'many bills during the Roosevelt, re geme to legalize voting for negroes, FDR never at any time ever put such legislation on his “ must pass list” for fear, of loosing the “ lilly-white” votes, He termed Georgia his adopted state but he never uttered a word against “white supremacy”. What happened last week has happened all through the south almost monthly since the Civil W ar.. The Democratic party, north or south, ever made the issue political that it could be settled at the polls. Roosevelt used his bribe method to gain popular favor with the negro classes in the south. He used WPA and relief to pass out fat side, meat, grits and corn meal like manna from Heaven, all at the expense o f the income tax payers. We had no inter est in the Georgia campaign for gov ernor. . Neither o f ,the white candi dates, nor the “ lilly white Governor Amell” would ever sit down at a meal with: a negro at the table. And the same can be said for Pearson and Winchell. And FDR^has no record o f having negro help'around his Fifth Avenue Mansion in New York He used trained foreigners in preference to the negroes. The Georgia cam paign was nothing more than the “ pot calling the kettle black.” While your sons and thoi* o f your neighbor*, w«r* dying on battle fields, the Democratic robbers at home were crying “ isolation” .. It was the sham shield to blind the public. FOR BALE—100 Hertford Heifers, also 90 head steers. Burrows A Son, Osborn 8-4834 or 8-4103, Dr. B. Lausche led the legislature up a blind alley last week when he called that body into session to consider rent control. It was generally admitted at.the time the Congress would pass a rent control law because many Re publicans as well as Democrats had openly backed the bill. It cost Ohio taxpayers just $4,600 for the Lausche political excursion to get a few rent control votes. How many landlord votes he lost on his side o f the politic al fence will not be known until next November. “Hold the - line against inflation” has been a catch phrase o f the New Dealers. It was the cry in Congress to bring OPA back to life , ‘President Truman had hardly sighed the jaw un til OPA announced h^hey\prt^#ir on a lot o f goods made by union labor. To please Southern Congressmen OPA Porter increased the cost o f most all goods made o f cotton. However, you will notice no increase on wool to the farmer. Cotton as a crop is outside o f OPA control. It was only Tues day the OPA increased the cost o f all clothing 11 percent and announced that other increases up to 26 percent would be ordered later. President Truman followed the late Sidney Hill man and ordered clothing prices to be based on the “cost-plus*’ basis to pro tect union labor. It is predicted the suit that formerly cost $35 before the war will cost $60 now when you can find one, if the same quality is main tained. “ Dog days are here again”. Demo, crata certainly will suffer more from the Mead investigation o f war con tracts and graft than from “ Dog Days. Congressman May and other New Dealers are in the “ dog house” so to speak for their dealings with -war contractors have been made public, The testimony o f Comptroller Warren before the Mead Committee as to war contracts and the part the War De partment had in grafting would cer tainly turn^ "gray hair~red” Tn New Deal .yanks - Those 6,000 dollar dia mond necklaces given to the wives of congressmen.
