While they v/ere gone Mr, and Mrs. Bull visited with Mr. and Mrs. X N. Wolfred of Yellow Springs who are spending the- winter a t Avon Park. In Tampa they stopped to see Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cummings. They spent two days as guests of Dr. and Mrs. W. W. Iliff, Jacksonville. While in F t. Meyers Mr. and Mrs. Bull • enjoyed a visit with a distant cousin and his wife,Mr. and Mrs. W* It. Bagsdale. ..The two men had not seen each other for fifty-two years. t BROADCASTERS MEET On Tir-silr.y evoring, March 11, Mrs, Paul Elliot was hosttess when 'die Broadcasters class of the First Presbyterian church held their meeting in the church. The following officers were elected for the coining year: President, Mrs. Hazel Ed­ wards; vice president, Mrs. Wil­ liam Wf-ide; secretary, Mrs. Alva Chaplin; treasurer, Mr. Crum- Xine. Business meeting was in charge of the president, Mrs. Edwards, following which contests were enjoyed by the group. Refreshments of shamrock ice cream, cup cakes and coffee were served. TAKEN TO HOSPITAL Mr. Joe Gano has been taken to the Springfield City hospital suffering from pneumonia. IN HOSPITAL Mrs. Mary Donnelley is a pa­ tient in Springfield City hospital. WCTU MEETS WEDNESDAY The regular monthly meeting cf the Woman's Christian Tem­ perance Union, was held a t the home of Mrs. J. E. Hastings, on Bridge street. The devotionais were in charge of Mrs. Hastings, after which paper clippings were read and discussed, Business meeting was conduct­ ed by the president, Mrs. Engle, after which members present sewed rug rags, to be sent to the Soldiers Home in Dayton.
