HOME FROM GUAM Mr. Jerry Bradford arrived Sunday from Guam where he has spent three years in the armed Forces. He has received his dis­ charge. Jerry is the son o f Mr. and Mrs. Garmon Bradford o f Springfield and the grandson o f Mr. and Mrs. David Strobridge. FAMILY DINNER Mr. and Mrs. Walter Boyer and sons Eddie and Gordon, Mr. and Mrs. George Gordon and Linda, Mrs. G. H. Gordon and Mrs. Minnie Gano attended a family dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Gordon, Sunday, Mrs. Gilbert Christain (Marjorie Gordon) and children of Pittsburg are visiting at the Gordon home. ATTENDS DINNER SUNDAY Mrs. James Duffield attended a birthday dinner Sunday honor­ ing her aunt, Mrs. Emma Dillon, in Yellow Springs. Mrs. Dillon celebrated her 76th birthday. The women o f the Clifton United Presbyterian Church held a shower last Monday night for Mrs. W. C. Snodgrass—nee Laura Caroline Biekett at the home of Mrs. Ernest Collins o f the Wil- herforce road. They showered hi r with canned fruit and jelly and tea towels. Mr. and Mrs. Snod­ grass are “ at home” at 721 North Fountaine Street Springfield, O. Mrs. John W. Biekett of Clif­ ton attended the missionary soc­ iety meeting o f the 2nd United Presbyterian church o? Xenia last Tuesday afternoon. Clayton Wiseman, Silverereek school, became the new' president; Russell Roberts, Ross school, was made vice president, and Clyde Walker, Cedarville school, secre­ tary-treasurer.
