Hindu Speaker Addresses Students Mr. Nilkanth Chavre spoke to the students on the subject of .India at a special assembly Thurs day, November 4, in the school auditorium. Interesting points discussed by the speaker were differences in the customs of the United States and India; what the people o f In dia think of the U. S.; and the religion o f India. Mr. Chavre also gave an inter esting demonstration showing the ability o f the Hindu girls to take one long piece of material and make it into several different out fits, merely by wrapping it around themselves in different ways. He also illustrated easy methods of shaping the turban headgear worn by men. In conclusion, the speaker warned that we can either make or destroy destiny, and he made it clear that the solution to the pro blem is not war. . . . . F. H. A.
