HUFF ELECTRIC Industrial — Residential Wiring _One concern which deserves our hearty endorsement because of its progressive policies and general .helpfulness toward the building of the community is the Huff Elec tric Co. This firm lias taken an active interest in the building of Xenia. It is a recognized firm of reliable reputation and builders o f Xenia have come to know Charles A . Huff, manager as the man, who perhaps knows his business better than any other contractor in Xen ia. The business o f electric work is one which requires years of ex perience, and the Huff Electric Go., has had that experience. They may be considered experts in their line, and yet their charges for jobs are no more than would be paid to a less efficient company. Charles A. Huff is a man who the city of Xenia owes a grea't deal. He has assisted in many waYs toward the development o f the city and he may be considered one o f the leaders In the building o f this city. He is located at 111 N. Whiteman, phone 2124. Joyce Xenia CONTRIBUTES TO LOCAL PROSPERITY A manufacturing firm is usually identified by the product which it manufactures, but in the final an alysis o f many industrial plants there are other forms of service which have no connection with the business hut which help in the building o f the community in which the plant is located. The Joyce Xenia has furnished Steady employment to many work ers and these workers in turn have •thfeir homes in this community as well as contribute much o f their earnings to the unbuilding o f other business enterprises. These and other features o f ser vice have identified Joyce Xenia, manufacturers o f nationally known shoes. This organization justly deserves the position it holds in the business world. Through the in corporation o f sound, honest, busi ness principlees, this company aas been able to expand its business to its present proportions. In this review o f Friendlv Busi ness Relations for 1949 we cannot fail to compliment Joyce Xenia, and so say they have the good will o f everyone o f us. A prominent financial institu tion o f this section that provides stability to the financial and com mercial interests o f the commun ity is the Xenia National Bank. It is under the direction of con servative yet progressive men who have guided this institution to substantial progress, evidenced by the large volume o f business they enjoy. An institution that has carefully guarded the best interests o f the depositors by demanding the full est security and adhering to the cardinal laws of finance. They are members o f the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. While this hank is seeking their own commerical success, those in charge always find time to lend a generous hand to the business men and farmers and therefore contribute greatly to' the progress o f this community. The value and necessity of our local banks cannot be too emphat ically stated as these institutions are not only responsible for the growth and expansion of the com munity at large but for prosperity o f the individual business and en terprises as well. In making this review we are proud to pay tribute to the Xenia National Bank, and to congratu late the officers and board for the Dolicies pursued by them.
