Cedarville Magazine, Spring 2014

confidence and taught me the importance of the international church community that Christ has given us, and the TPC major also thoroughly prepared me to be a technical communicator with a solid set of skills, which ultimately landed me a job after graduation. I now live in Arkansas and am a software technical writer and trainer for CAT², a company that creates software for the food industry. I document our software and travel to train our customers. Because many of our customers’ employees are Hispanic, I do training in both Spanish and English. I never would have imagined that my first job out of college would utilize both my technical communication and Spanish skills, let alone send me around the country and the world, but my education at Cedarville made all of this possible. Megan Coffman ’13 is a software technical writer/trainer at CAT². When she is not traveling for work, she hangs out with friends, knits, and has recently begun learning French.
