A NEW HOME FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION Scharnberg Business Center will provide a world-class facility to house the Department of Communication. Classrooms are the heart of this building, providing venues for teaching and collaboration. A dedicated recording studio and ample faculty offices will provide this outstanding academic department the space it needs to grow. CENTER FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF CYBERSECURITY A contemporary second-story space, complete with lakeside balcony, will spotlight our in-demand cyber program. The Center will feature a dedicated cyber classroom for lab exercises and cyber team activities, research space for industry-sponsored research and senior design projects, and a versatile collaboration area with balcony access. A NEW CAMPUS DINING OPTION Perhaps what students are most excited for, an Einstein Bros. Bagels will be housed on the first floor of this new facility. Offering a variety of bagels, treats, and coffee drinks, this newest addition to the Cedarville dining plan will provide students with a unique quick-service food choice to complement the dining hall, Chick-fil-A, Tossed, and Panda Express (opening fall 2023). VERSATILE EVENT SPACE A 500-seat auditorium will offer the campus a mid-size venue for hosting special events and guest speakers, while also providing an additional space for chapel overflow as our student body continues to grow. Mechanical walls will allow the auditorium to be configured into three large classrooms for academic instruction from our world-class faculty. GATHERING PLACES FOR STUDENTS Conveniently located between the Dixon Ministry Center and the Stevens Student Center, this facility is sure to become a campus hub. A lakeside terrace will provide a beautiful outdoor setting in fall and spring, while eight student collaboration rooms and multiple open seating areas offer year-round spaces for students to grow in their faith and their field of study.
