Cedarville Magazine, Summer 2019

The Welcome Center and Liberal Arts Building will house an all-new Admissions Welcome Center. In addition to providing offices and meeting space, a large presentation room will accommodate the increasing number of guests and enable us to tell the Cedarville story using the latest technology. This new building will also bring together our liberal arts core that is at the center of every professional program. It’s this core that equips our students as communicators, decision-makers, and team players, and causes them to stand out among their peers as they begin their careers. This building will house the Department of History and Government; the Department of English, Literature, and Modern Languages; the Department of Communication; and the School of Education. This new space will encourage community and collaboration between faculty and students working in complementary fields. It will also create more spaces for faculty mentoring and investment in students. Sitting at the edge of campus facing Ohio State Route 72, the Welcome Center and Liberal Arts Building will welcome and inspire visitors with its classical design, matching facilities with the quality of the programs inside. This spectacular structure will tie our campus together architecturally as well, serving as a bridge from the traditional look of Founders Hall to the modern style of the Center for Biblical and Theological Studies.
