Cedarville Magazine, Summer 2019
Q What biblical principles guide your approach to engaging donors and friends with giving opportunities? A First and foremost, we believe fundraising is about serving our financial partners. We want to come alongside them as they steward the resources God has given them to have the greatest impact possible for Christ and His Kingdom. I often say we have the joy of connecting Kingdom resources with Kingdom opportunities for Kingdom impact, and there is nothing that our givers enjoy more than to see their gift stewarded well, the impact of their gift, and an eternal return on their investment. Q Why is this the right time to initiate this campus master plan? A These are extraordinary days in the life of Cedarville University. We are experiencing record growth in enrollment and giving as we stand unapologetically and counterculturally for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ. I believe God has called us to be faithful stewards of His grace and transformational growth, and now is the time to maximize this God- given gift for greater Kingdom impact in advancing the mission and vision of Cedarville University. It sets us on a trajectory of expanding our campus REALIZING THE VISION TOGETHER The 10-year campus master plan will enhance Cedarville’s ability to transform lives for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ for generations to come.
