CONTINUING EDUCATION EXPANDING CU Enrich (enrich.cedarville. edu) is Cedarville’s online platform for continuing education. New, more robust continuing education programs and the recent hire of instructional technologist Jason Frieling, a former school teacher and educat ional technology trainer in Romeo, Michigan, have the University excited about its online impact. One of the first CU Enrich initiatives is Cedarville’s highly popular Bible minor classes. Currently available on CU Enrich are Old Testament Literature, taught by Chris Miller; Theology 1, taught by Jeremy Kimble; and Theology 2, also taught by Kimble. Two other courses — The Bible and the Gospel and New Testament Literature — are slated to be added to CU Enrich. The courses will be offered at no charge, and those successfully completing the classes will earn a certificate. Prospective students can enjoy a free preview of Cedarville coursework through the CU in Class onl ine modules. Single sessions of classes include Introduction to Adversarial Thinking for Cybersecurity, Ethics and Its Relationship to Worldview, Managing Teams, among many others. Other courses currently available on CU Enrich include a recently developed Accelerate Reading Program, a fiveweek video series designed to help learners increase both their reading rate and comprehension. Conceived as a course to help prospective students and incoming freshmen, anyone can benefit from the on-demand course, which is offered for a fee. “We are growing online in a way we have never done before,” noted Pam Johnson, Dean of Undergraduate Studies. “It’s a big expansion of our footprint.” 9TH International Conference On Creationism JULY 16–19, 2023 Call for Papers Proposals for full-length papers are due August 3, 2022.
