BUZZ THE @CU Campus News Brought to You by Public Relations Will Galkin Blythe Anderson Christian Eppich Abigail Shepherd Thousands of family members and friends came together to celebrate the class of 2025 at Cedarville’s 129th Commencement on May 3. This year, 905 students walked across the Doden Field House stage, with 758 receiving their undergraduate degrees and 147 earning their graduate degrees. This year, several academic programs celebrated commencement milestones. One of Cedarville’s largest programs, the Bachelor of Science in nursing, recognized 40 years since its first graduating class, with 82 new graduates ready to serve with Christlike compassion in the field. Additionally, 2025 marks the first cohort of graduating PA (physician assistant) students, with 27 students receiving their MMSc in PA Studies degree! As a highlight of the day’s celebrations, two students in each commencement ceremony were awarded the prestigious President’s Trophy, recognizing exceptional merit throughout their time at Cedarville. During the 10 a.m. ceremony, the award was given to Blythe Anderson of Greenville, Wisconsin, who earned her degree in nursing, and Christian Eppich, a computer science major with a specialization in video game engineering who is from Ijamsville, Maryland. In the 2 p.m. ceremony, the President’s Trophy was awarded to Cedarville native Abigail Shepherd, who graduated with a major in molecular biology and minors in Bible, pre-seminary, and honors. The final award recipient, Will Galkin, hails from Murray, Utah. He majored in history with minors in Bible, public policy, pre-MDiv, and honors. We are so proud of this newest class of graduates, and we look forward to seeing how God will use them as beacons of light in a dark world for His glory.
