JAMES LYONS CHESNUT, D. D. 19 A Wedding. ''At the residence of the bride's father, 116 North Twenty-first street, Philadelphia, Rev. James Lyons Chesnut was united in mar– riage to Miss Jennie Wallace. Rev. David Steele, D. D., pastor of the happy pair, per– formed the ceremony in the presence of a few immediate friends and relatives of the parties to the matrimonial bond. "A short time after the ceremony, a large number of friends and acquaintances of the newly married couple assembled in tht family mansion. An orchestra from the Blind Asylum discoursed excellent music during the evening. Among those present were Revs. Prof. Matthew Gailey, Prof. James Y. Boice and wife, Dr. Robert .Hunter and wife, Rev. William H. Gailey and wife, Rev. Jacob Krewson and wife, of Bucks County, the students of the Seminary, the members of Miss Wallace's class in the Sab– bath School, and many others with whom the young people had been associated, either in church work or otherwise. A table covered with all the delicacies of the season adorned the dining-room, to which, during the even– ing, those present did ample justice. "Mr. and Mrs. Wallace were untiring in their efforts to make every one feel happy, and although the cold was intense without, all was sunshine within. "The bridal presents were numerous and elaborate, consisting of both the useful and the ornamental. "The happy pair started on their journey
