P. Church, Main St., was held the Inter-Society Contest, which has been so much looked forward to by the students and friends of the college. There was a good audience in attend– ance, and the contest was the best we have had. The victory was won by the Philosophies who took nineteen points of the twenty-five, leaving only six to the Philadelphians. The winners are as follows: I Philosophic Literary Society. The meetings of the Philosophic So– ciety have continued to be charter– ized by their usual interest and ex– cellence. Attendance has also been very good. At the last business meeting Paul Ramsey was elected president, Harry Bird, Vice-president; Virginia Lowry, secretary; and Paul Creswell, sergeant at arms. The former treasurer was Oration- J.
