Mrs. Mason At Age 75 Mrs. Mary Mason, a native of Greene County and a res­ ident of Bowersville for the past 35 yean, died at 2:15 a.m. T u e s d a y in her 75th year. Mrs. Mason, the wife of O. A. Mason, had been in ill h e a l t h for t h e past 13 yean. Funeral services were sche­ duled for 2 p.m. Thunday at the Neeld Funeral Home in Xenia with interment fol­ lowing in B o w e r s v i l l e ' s Woodlawn cemetery. A native of S t r i n g t o wn community of n e a r James­ town, Mrs. Ma s on was the daughter of John Wesley and Keziah M. Thomas. She and her hus ba nd were married Sept. 19, 1897 at Port Will­ iam. Mrs. Mason was a mem­ ber. of the Pilgrim Holiness Church of Bowersville. Surviving are her husband; two s ons , L a w r e n c e of B ow e r s v i l l e and John of X e n i a ; a b r o t h e r , Silas Thomas, D a y t on, and five grandchUdren. The 1n s i n g t o n Club of C e d a r v i l l e will hold its annual Christmas party Fri­ day at 6:30 p. m. at the IOOF Hall. Dinner will be served by members of the Rebekah Lodg e and there will be * gift exchange. Stokes Opens Taxi |Service C e d a r v i lie, now without bus or rail passenger service, has taxicab service. Lois Thayer Cops Speaking Contest Lois Thayer, near Clifton, won th‘e right t o r e p r e s e n t Greene County--along with twoFairbornpupils--by win- i ning the annual P r i n c e of i P e a c e contest held Sunday at the Ch r i s t E p i s c o p a l Church parish house in Xenia. Miss Thayer r e p r e s e n t e d C e d a r v i l l e in the county contests. Her alternate was Kent Creswell, Cedarville. She will compete later'this winter in the district contest and, if successful here and, if successful there, will a pp e a r in the state finals before the Ohio Ministerial C o n f e r e n c e __ Cedarville Sets Visit from Santa Santa Claus will be on hand for Cedarville kids next Fri­ day.
